Let's Get Cookin'!

February Flatlay Challenge - Flatlay a Day For 28 Days! ❤ DAY 6

Paper.  Have I ever mentioned how much I love paper?  Lot's,  huh? 😜 What is it about paper that draws me so?
I think it goes all the way back to my coloring books as a child.  I loved the feel of it on my fingers, how the crayons sounded on the page as I colored.  Seriously yummy!
I loved vintage papers, even before it was popular. I love vintage looking new papers too.
In these photos, there are a combination. The recipes cards and cookbook pages are vintage and the background papers are new.  They are from Canvas Corp Brands, the same company I mentioned in an earlier post. They have some gorgeous papers!
The sugar cookie recipe card is actually from my mom.  On the reverse side is a recipe for popcorn balls.   I can smell it now, just thinking about it!  Oh . . . so yummy. 😋

Tomorrow is the last day for the paper crafts and sewing art theme week.  Anything you want to see me shoot for the last day?  The next theme is flowers! Another huge love of mine! 😊

See you tomorrow! xoxoxo

  1. I inherited my mother's handwritten recipe card collection. Never thought of them as "vintage" papers, but I guess some of them are. Thanks for the idea.

    1. Sure thing, Carole! I dont have many 'cuz she wasn't that keen on cooking. But I sure do cherish the ones that I have! ❤
